Bridgewater Soccer Association Scholarship
The BSA scholarship was developed in 1985 with the intention to assist club soccer player(s) in their pursuit of education after High School. A portion of the annual tournament proceeds fund this worthwhile club award each year. Scholarship applicants are asked to submit an essay that details their soccer experience within the BSA and application form by January 1st each year. The applicant essay is then reviewed and discussed at the regular scheduled January Board of Directors meeting. At this meeting scholarship recipient(s) are voted on and then notified. Recipient(s) are invited, as club guests, to the annual dinner dance held each year in February. Criteria for the award are outlined below.
Criteria:
- Applicant must have played in the BSA.
- Applicant must be in their senior year of High School and a member of the soccer team.
- Scholarship applicant must submit an essay (500 words maximum) describing their soccer experience in the BSA.
- Applicant will be required to complete the BSA Scholarship Application form and submit it with their essay by the due date. Application form can be obtained by downloading it from the website here.
