COMETS UNBEATEN STREAK ENDS – BUT ANOTHER ONE BEGINS!

The Comets, BSA’s girls U14 team, enjoyed an incredible unbeaten streak of 17 games stretching back to the BSA Kickoff Tournament in September last year.  Their record in that period was 14-0-3 scoring 43 goals and conceding only 13. During that time they won the Gold Cup at the Parsippany tournament and topped Flight 2 of Mid New Jersey.

Now playing in Flight 1 the streak came to an end last Saturday when they fell 1-3 to the Stronghold Huskies.  But the very next day the Comets came back and earned a hard-fought tie with the same team! In fact the Comets were leading 1-0 up until the last ten minutes.

Currently standing in third pace in Flight 1 the team continues to improve. Coach Ray O’Hagan says “These girls constantly amaze me in the way they can step up their game to play the tougher Flight 1 teams. It is great to see the whole team working hard to achieve these results”

Keep up the good work Comets!
