Flights, schedules, scores & standings
This information can be found on GotSoccer at: https://events.gotsport.com/events/default.aspx?EventID=44161
You have two options:
Option #1 - by email. Only open until 12 noon on FRIDAY September 8th.
Here is what you need to do:
· Scan your team’s official 2017-18 roster approved by the State of New Jersey or US Club Soccer (remember that we do not allow guest players as this will upset the balance we have achieved in flighting you with teams of like abilities).
· Scan your players’ and coaches’ approved passes (front and back) corresponding to your roster (all in one pdf please)
· Send them as an attachment in an email to me
with the Subject Line stating your age group and team/club name e.g. “Girls U14 Milltown Rangers”
· No medical release forms are necessary for registration (but you must have these with you at all games, just like your passes).
Option #2 – In person. This will take place on Thursday September 7th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Go Soccer store located in the Wegmans Plaza off Route 202 South in Bridgewater. You will need to bring your player 2017-18 passes and approved 2017-18 roster with a copy for us.
Participation & Champions Medals
Teams that are U10 or younger can either pick up their participation medals while registering or obtain them from the site coordinator at your first game on Saturday.
Teams U11 and older that win their flight will receive Champions Medals on Sunday at the site that they played their games. There are no runner-up medals.
Please make sure you have read the rules – available at our website www.bridgewatersoccer.com
Game Day Procedure
Referees and/or field marshals may check player passes before games. Have them available at all times. You should always have Medical Releases available too.
You are responsible for your players’ equipment. No jewelry. Properly padded casts may be permitted at discretion of the referee.
The Home team (listed first on schedule) provides the game ball, chooses side for first half, and chooses shirt color in the event of a clash. Away side kicks off.
We try very hard to place teams in appropriate flights to ensure good competitive games but it doesn’t always turn out that way. If you find that your team is winning easily please act early to avoid running up the score. Remember - it is just kids playing a game!
With over 2,300 players as well as parents and coaches - parking is always tight so car-pool whenever possible. Please listen to and obey our parking volunteers – they are there to help and ensure everyone’s safety.
Merriwood (BR Middle School)
Do not park on the main access road. It is a fire lane and you may get ticketed. The access road is one-way. Park as soon as you find a space - and walk. Allow extra time to reach the fields. Note that there is no parking on Somerville Road as you leave the school.
You are not allowed to stop at all on the road next to the turf field – not even to drop off players. Turn into the lot and park or drop off there. This is an access road to Police HQ and any violations will jeopardize our future use of these fields so please comply!
There will be food vendors at each main site along with various other vendors including:
- Scott Pilling, individual action photos - click here for more information
- Mundo Sports. Replica soccer uniforms
Please drop in and look at the merchandise!
Thanks again for supporting our tournament!
Best Regards and Good Luck!,
